NetUse is a "FREE" utility that allows mapping a Windows drive letter to a remote FTP server.
NetUse runs in the
Microsoft Windows system tray and leverages the ability to map a network drive with a WebDav server to proxy requests with a
FTP server via the Windows shell. When NetUse maps a drive it creates a WebDav server via the open source library WebDavSharp.Server and then establishes a mapped
drive to it using the Windows NetAddConnection API. NetUse then proxies the WebDav requests to a "store" implementation
using the open source FluentFTP library for remote file operations. NetUse is designed to support additional file stores beyond FTP for
future enhancements.
Since this product is currently free production support is not available.
