Error "One or more errors occurred. [Response status code does not indicate success: 404 (Not Found).]" error when syncing with Google Contacts

We discontinued support for gSyncit v4 in June 2018 and advise customers experiencing this issue to consider upgrading to gSyncit v5 release which uses the latest Google client libraries and currently supported & maintained.

The error "Response status code does not indicate success: 404 (Not Found)" occurs in all gSyncit v4 releases due to breaking changes released by Google in August 2019 to the Google Calendar API. These changes are incompatible with gSyncit v4. gSyncit v4 was discontinued in 2018 and no additional updates will be made available for this version.
