New Outlook Web UI Support

Microsoft is rolling out a new (and optional) interface update to existing Outlook desktop customers based on modern web technologies that aligns the Outlook.com interface across devices/platforms. As a result of this architectural shift older Common Object Model Outlook add-ins, including gSyncit, are not compatible. This means if you enable the "new" Outlook UI you will lose the ability to use gSyncit to synchronize your Outlook content. You will only be able to use gSyncit with Outlook in "classic" mode.

Making a version of gSyncit compatible with the "new" Outlook UI is not trivial and requires a complete rewrite of gSyncit that currently encompassing 15+ years of engineering. We will be looking into converting gSyncit to a server side oriented application but at this point our recommendation is to continue using Outlook in "classic" mode.
